If you’re a faculty member, librarian, or administrator interested in adapting the Cover Name Collective model for your own campus, I’d love to connect.
I’m happy to chat, share materials, or mentor others who want to build similar systems for protecting student authorship. I can also share my own experiences implementing this model (what worked, what surprised me, and what kind of impact I’ve observed) always without naming or identifying any students.
Please note that this site is not a place to submit or store student information. I cannot receive or review student records directly. Our work is about building frameworks, not collecting data.
For general questions or to start a conversation:
📧 Email: aklamar@ucsb.edu

From there, we can coordinate a live or encrypted conversation if needed.
Note for Students
If you’re a student who feels unsafe publishing or presenting under your real name, you are not alone. I can’t collect or hold individual records through this site, but I’m always glad to talk with your faculty mentors about how they can safely adapt this model for you.
You can also share this website or the sample registration form with a trusted professor, librarian, or advisor. They can contact me to learn how to implement the process locally.
This project is grounded in care, trust, and discretion. If you’re working toward those same values in your lab or institution, I’m happy to help you get started.
